The Campaign School for Social Workers is for anyone who wants amplify their ability to solve issues and create positive change in their communities and the world. Learn from political social workers, elected officials, and national experts why you belong in politics and gain valuable leadership skills that apply to any practice setting.
Topics include:
- The inner workings of electoral campaigns;
- Why national elections are won and lost at the local and state level;
- Candid conversations with elected officials leaders about their experiences and challenges;
- How to use your professional values, interpersonal skills, and Code of Ethics to navigate power, difference, and conflicts; and
- Strategies to support the political power and capital of clients, candidates and communities who have been historically excluded from power.
